Welcome to 7th Grade Algebra 1!
Placement in this course is based on the results of the results of the MDTP readiness test given on the first day of school and upon the student's previous math success history. Upon completion of this course, students will be proficient in the use of algebraic properties to evaluate expressions, describe the properties of a line within the Cartesian coordinate graphing system, use graphical and algebraic methods to solve linear equations and inequalities in one and two variables, reduce rational and radical algebraic fractions to their simplest form, and solve quadratic equations.
